I have all the Twist Alea and this tea kettle is not only beautiful, but, very functional. I use it every day and it still looks good. I love it! I love the Twist Alea line. It is so bright and beautiful. Goes well with the New Wave pattern also.

There simply is no tableware design more fun or colorful than Villeroy & Boch's Twist Alea pattern. Lively pinks, blues, and oranges in checked-mosaic formation make this Twist Alea teakettle too bright and cheery to shelve. A lemon body with two-tone accent dots is broken up horizontally with a pale green stripe and white bordering that melds with the handle and spout. The cheerful, color-palette checks make stunning bordering for the base and lid, and evoke a playfulness that livens up any kitchen or dining table. Made of vitrified porcelain for strength and durability, this teakettle is both dishwasher- and microwave- safe.Choices abound in the pizzazzy Twist series, including lemon shades in the zesty Twist Limone pattern, or a celery hue in the Twist Verde variation.
